01 — Three formats
Sunrise, full day or sunset
A day charter is bounded by daylight and fuel range, so the realistic playground is Nusa Penida, Lembongan and Ceningan.
Around 9 AM–4 PM
Full-day charter
Two or three snorkel stops, lunch on board, time for water toys.
Around 4–7 PM
Sunset cruise
Two to three hours near Benoa and the Bukit coast — drinks, not snorkelling.
Only one day and want the islands? The full day is the honest choice. A sunset cruise is a different product — a floating golden hour, not an island trip.
02 — The day
A full day to the Nusa islands
The standard six-to-eight-hour trip is a loop. Skippers reorder it around tide, swell and crowded anchorages, so read it as representative.
Manta sightings are wild-animal sightings — never guaranteed. Crews skip Manta Point when swell makes the anchorage unsafe.

Count the road too: from Seminyak, Benoa is 45–60 minutes in traffic — worth knowing before a sunrise booking.

One flat rate for the boat
Day charters are usually quoted for the whole boat, not per person — which is what makes them sensible for a group. A typical full day includes:
- Captain and crew
- Fuel for the standard Nusa-islands route
- Snorkel gear — masks, fins, vests
- Lunch and soft drinks
- Towels and basic toys like paddleboards
- Extra: Seabob or jet ski, alcohol, diving, longer routes, photo or drone crew
