Sail & power catamarans
Bali catamaran charter, steady days on two hulls.
Twin hulls sit flatter and roll less than a single-hull yacht — the easy choice for families, groups and anyone prone to seasickness.

01 — Why a catamaran
Two hulls, far less roll
The weight spreads wide across the water, so a catamaran heels and rocks far less than a monohull. A buffet stays put on the saloon table, and kids can cross the deck without a tilt.
- Steadier at anchor — minimal roll when you stop to swim off Nusa Penida or Lembongan.
- Wide, flat decks — easier for children, older guests and anyone unsteady on their feet.
- Shallow draft — many reach quiet bays and reef edges a deep-keel yacht cannot.
- Shade plus sun — covered cockpit and saloon, open bow nets and a sun deck.
02 — Sail or power
Sail catamaran or power catamaran?
Same twin hulls, same stability — but a different day. Sail is quieter; power trades the sails for speed and reach.
Drifting off Sanur at sunset suits a sail cat. Three Nusa Penida snorkel stops before lunch earns a power cat its fuel bill.

03 — Deck & shade
More room than the length suggests
The living area spans the full beam, so a 12-metre catamaran can feel roomier than a 15-metre monohull. The whole group can lunch under cover, then spread out.
- Shaded cockpit and air-conditioned saloon for the midday sun.
- Forward trampoline nets and a sun deck for those chasing a tan.
- Usually a flybridge or upper deck on top.
04 — Capacity & rates
What a Bali catamaran costs
Sample full-day ranges from operators we work with, as of June 2026 and subject to change with season, fuel and demand. Overnight capacity is lower — cabins limit who sleeps aboard.
Rates usually cover crew, fuel for a standard route, basic snorkel gear and soft drinks. Premium catering, alcohol and longer routes are quoted on top — inclusions vary, so confirm each quote.
