About Bali Charter Yacht

Bali Charter Yacht is an independent yacht charter broker. We do not own a fleet. Instead, we curate, vet, and book private yachts and catamarans from established third-party operators across Bali and the wider Lesser Sunda region, then match each guest to the right vessel, crew, and itinerary for their trip.

That single fact shapes everything on this site. A broker who owns boats has one obvious incentive: keep their own hulls booked. We do not carry that bias. Because we work across many operators rather than selling a fixed fleet, we can compare a sailing catamaran in Benoa against a motor yacht in Serangan and tell you which one actually fits your group size, budget, and the conditions on your travel dates.

What exactly does an independent charter broker do?

Think of us as the layer between you and the vessel owners. When you send an enquiry, we shortlist suitable boats from operators we already know, confirm real-time availability, negotiate the rate, and handle the booking paperwork. The yacht, captain, and crew belong to the operator. We coordinate them on your behalf and stay reachable before, during, and after the day on the water.

Here is the split in plain terms:

Bali Charter Yacht (broker) The yacht operator
Curates and recommends vessels Owns and maintains the yacht
Checks availability and pricing Employs the captain and crew
Books the charter and confirms terms Runs safety equipment and certification
Single contact point for changes Operates the vessel on the day

We earn our place by saving you the hours it takes to message a dozen operators, decode inconsistent pricing, and guess which boat is genuinely seaworthy for a Nusa Penida crossing versus a sunset cruise off Tanjung Benoa.

Who writes and reviews the content here?

The guides, specifications, and pricing notes on this site are maintained by Komang Suardika, our Bali-based charter editor. Komang grew up around Benoa Harbour and has spent years working with charter operators along Bali’s south coast and the routes east toward Lombok, Nusa Penida, and the Gili Islands. He sails the boats, talks to the captains, and updates pages when rates or vessels change.

Komang is a working charter specialist, not a celebrity endorser. We mention him by name because you deserve to know a real person stands behind the recommendations, and because honest expertise means being accountable for what we publish. If a price or a boat detail on this site is wrong, that is on us to fix, and you can flag it directly.

We do not claim industry awards, star ratings, or certifications we have not earned, and you will not find invented customer reviews on these pages. When we cite a figure, we date-stamp it, because charter rates in Bali move with fuel costs, season, and demand. A quote labeled “as of June 2026” means exactly that.

How are the yachts vetted before we recommend them?

We will not book a boat we would not put our own families on. Before an operator’s vessel appears in a shortlist we send you, we run through a practical checklist. None of this guarantees a perfect day, weather and sea state are beyond anyone’s control, but it removes the obvious risks.

  • Valid operating papers. The operator must hold current Indonesian vessel documentation and the permits required to carry paying passengers.
  • Safety equipment on board. Life jackets sized for adults and children, life rafts or floats appropriate to passenger count, fire extinguishers, and working communication gear.
  • Crew competence. A licensed captain and crew who know the specific routes, the tide windows at Nusa Penida, and the harbour rules at Benoa and Serangan.
  • Honest condition. We favour operators who maintain their engines, hulls, and shade, and who are upfront about a boat’s real age and capacity rather than overselling it.
  • Track record. We prioritise operators we have booked before and seen deliver, over unknown listings offering a suspiciously cheap rate.

If an operator cannot satisfy these basics, we do not list their boat, regardless of how attractive the price looks.

Which areas does Bali Charter Yacht cover?

Our core launch points are the harbours on Bali’s south coast, with day charters and multi-day trips reaching the islands east of Bali. The table below shows where most of our bookings run from and to.

Departure points Common destinations
Benoa Harbour Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan
Serangan (Tanjung Benoa) Nusa Ceningan
Sanur jetty area Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, Gili Meno
Padang Bai (for east routes) West Lombok and the Secret Gilis

Trips range from a few hours, such as a Tanjung Benoa sunset cruise, to full-day island-hopping runs and longer liveaboard-style charters toward Lombok. If your plan sits outside this map, tell us anyway. We will say honestly whether we can arrange it through a trusted operator or whether you are better served elsewhere.

How do you get a real quote?

Because no two charters are priced the same, the fastest way to an accurate number is to tell us your date, group size, departure point, and what you want from the day. We will come back with vetted options and a clear, current price, with no obligation to book.

Reach the Bali Charter Yacht team directly:

  • WhatsApp: +62 811 2859 0000 (fastest reply, message anytime)
  • Email: info@balicharteryacht.com

When you message, include your preferred date, how many guests, whether you want a motor yacht or a sailing catamaran, and your departure area. That detail lets Komang and the team shortlist the right boats from the first reply instead of trading a dozen questions back and forth.

We will tell you what fits, what it costs as of the date we quote, and what the day will realistically look like, including the parts a boat owner selling their own hull might leave out. That is the whole point of using an independent broker.
